Sharon Spurlock is a painter that received her BFA in Painting, with special studies in Art History & Museum Studies.
With a business career in Graphic Design, Textile and Product Design,
she also spends her time painting in
her studio in Los Trancos Woods in Portola Valley, California.
About her artwork she says:
"For me the abstraction of symbols, shapes, colors and words are all a distilled form of reality. I derive my imagery from personal remembrances and experiences that are translated into a vocabulary of icons and meanings."
